I think it is critically important that our elected leaders spend time with leaders in communities throughout the state to hear what common issues, and potential solutions are facing their communities. I have worked hard over my career and my volunteer time to forge strong relationships and as your next State Senator, District 13, I will continue to work to ensure that I am a collaborative voice towards solutions that work for our communities. Attending events such as the Wayne Morse Gala and spending time with elected leaders throughout the state helps to get recognition of the unique needs and opportunities that District 13 has and can help find partners in making those positive changes at the state level that can help us here at home.
