It was so much fun at our joint canvass with Andrea Salinas. It is a great experience seeing so many of our neighbors who are engaged and ready to make sure we support candidates who will work for you. Your voice matters and your vote counts. We were happy to be joined by Rob Wagner for State ...Senate to talk with voters in SD13 about our great candidates!

Always fun to ride in our community parades. Getting to see so many familiar and new faces, chat with our neighbors throughout the region, and find ways to celebrate our communities is both rewarding and inspiring. So excited to have been able to ride in the Beaverton Celebration Parade.

As we are waking up to smoke in the air from nearby fires, it is a great reminder to do our part in preventing fires. The post from Oregon Department of Transportation reminds us how we can prepare our vehicles and plan ahead.

At the height of the Industrial Revolution in the United States, the average worker spent 12-hour days, 7 days a week working, just to make ends meet, facing extremely unsafe working conditions. As labor unions began to appear they helped to grow more prominent and vocal, protesting against poor ...conditions and to compel employers to renegotiate hours and pay. This weekend we celebrate Labor Day to pay tribute to the contributions and achievements of American workers. Happy Labor Day!

I want to welcome back students all across our region. As a member of the CCC Board of Directors, I want to give a special recognition to all the students coming back onto our main campus in Oregon City, as well as our satellite campuses. It is great to see so much promise and energy as we start ...a new school year. I have always been an advocate for strong workforce development courses and partnerships with businesses to help create strong pathways for living wage jobs. Throughout my campaign for State Senate District 13, I have had the privilege of talking with many business leaders, union representatives, laborers and neighbors to hear their ideas on how to continue to forge new opportunities for our youth and those looking to change career paths. As your next State Senator I will continue to advance opportunities to support our students, our workforce, and our businesses who put their employees first.

I am proud to have earned the endorsement of the American Federation of State, County & Municipal Employees (AFSCME) Council 75. AFSCME is nurses, corrections officers, child care providers, sanitation workers, school bus drivers, civil engineers among more than a million people doing hundreds... of different jobs with a dedication to making our communities stronger, healthier and safer. Public service isn't just a job: it's a calling!

So great to canvass with Courtney Neron. Love getting to see the communities and neighbors we will represent. Can't wait to be your next State Senator District 13.

I am thrilled to have the hardworking men and women of the United Food and Commercial Workers endorsement for our campaign. After years as an IT Executive, as well as my time in volunteer roles around the country, I know the value of a strong union who can protect workers rights and ensure ...equitable and fair benefits. As your next State Senator for District 13, I will continue to work to ensure that workers across our District and our State have safe working conditions, strong healthcare and retirement benefits, and have advocates like the UFCW on their side when they are treated wrongly. Thank you to the UFCW workers for continuing to being frontline workers and keeping our country going during the pandemic and for endorsing our campaign for State Senate District 13. We stand with you.

As an elected member of the Clackamas Community College Board of Directors, I see first hand the opportunities that a strong public education system affords for our students. I am proud to have earned the endorsement of the Oregon Education Association, and as your State Senator, I will continue prioritize our public education system and our public educators.
